Introduction to HAP

HAP (Hyper Application Platform) is an innovative hyper app platform that enables users to build enterprise applications with a no code approach. Without writing code, users can create high-quality applications for core business scenarios such as sales, operations, HR, and procurement, while seamlessly connecting internal data across the organization.

HAP also features a hyperautomation engine that enables full automation of complex and repetitive business processes. With its Integration Center and comprehensive API capabilities, users can easily integrate HAP with external systems. In addition, HAP offers high composability, strong internationalization support, and a cloud-native architecture with multi-cloud deployment capabilities. Business systems built on HAP are referred to as applications. An application can support a single process or an entire business function—ranging from simple ticket management to full-scale ERP systems—all within one platform.

HAP applications are built by combining eight core functional modules, which are Worksheet, View, Role and Permission, Workflow, ChatBot, Chart, Custom Page and External Portal.

  • Worksheet
    Used to collect and store business data. Any data entry requires a corresponding worksheet, such as employee worksheets, customer worksheets, or order worksheets.

  • View
    Provides different ways to present business data. Views can display filtered data based on specific business scenarios or user roles.

  • Role and Permission
    Control user access to business data, including create, read, update, and delete operations.

  • Workflow
    Automates business data processing and enables automated data flow across processes.

  • ChatBot
    Allows users to interact with data, workflow, and external applications through multimodal conversations.

  • Chart
    Provides multi-dimensional data analysis to support decision-making.

  • Custom Page
    Allows placement of quick actions, charts, and other components. Commonly used for dashboards, workspaces, etc.

  • External Portal
    Enables external users to participate, connecting internal and external users for seamless collaboration.

With these eight modules, users can build a wide range of enterprise applications. Except for certain specialized systems or consumer-facing frontend applications, HAP covers the majority of enterprise digitalization needs. It replaces traditional custom development with higher efficiency and quality, enables ISVs to build vertical industry solutions, modernizes legacy IT systems, and serves as both a data management hub and workflow engine for enterprises.
