World Map
1. Overview
A World Map Chart is used to visualize data distribution across global or regional maps.
It maps geographic locations (countries/regions/provinces) to coordinates, bubble size to represent a numerical metric (e.g., order volume or profit), and bubble color to differentiate by category (e.g., agent type). This chart is ideal for visualizing global agent distribution, regional performance, or market intensity.
🌍 World map charts are available in the Ultimate Edition only, and are not visible in other editions.

Chart Settings
| Setting | Field Type | Description & Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| Region (Dimension) | Geographic field | Select Region (Country) or switch to province/city as needed |
| Value | Numeric field | Key metric to display, such as Order Volume or Sales |
| Point Size | Numeric field | Controls bubble radius, e.g., Order Profit |
| Color (Category) | Categorical field | Distinguishes categories like Agent Type |
| Filter | Filter condition | Limit by time range, country, agent type, etc. |
Bubble position: Based on country/region coordinates
Bubble size: Indicates metric scale (larger = higher value)
Bubble color: Represents categorical dimension (e.g., agent type)
💡 The "Value" and "Point Size" fields must not be the same.
If your goal is to show sales amount by region and use that value for bubble size, consider creating a calculated field, such as: Calculated Field = Sales Amount + 0
Then, assign this calculated field to Point Size in chart configuration.
