Offline Data Submission

The offline data submission feature in the mobile app is specifically designed for no-network/weak-network environments, making it suitable for scenarios with limited connectivity such as field surveys, equipment inspections,ect. In situations with no network or unstable signals, users can normally enter data and save it to local cache. Once the network is restored, the data can be manually synchronized to the server, ensuring data integrity and reliability.

Configuring Worksheets for Offline Data Submission

Application administrators go to [App Management] > [APP Offline] and add the worksheets that require offline data entry.

Submitting Data Offline in the Mobile App

  1. In the mobile app, tap [Me] > [Offline Mode], select the worksheet, and submit records.

    When the app detects no network connection, it will display a quick "Offline Mode" button.

  2. After the network is restored, users need to manually submit the data. The mobile device will not automatically detect the network environment to submit data.

    Due to the need to verify data permissions and business rules, batch record submission is not supported.

Rules for Offline Data Submission

  • Fields Supported for Offline Data Entry: Text, Number, Currency, Email, Date, Time, Telephone, File, Check Item, Rich Text, ID Number, Positioning, Single-select/Multi-select (custom options), Signature

  • During offline data entry, business rules, field validations, and permission settings will not take effect. When manually submitting data after network restoration, the system will validate data permissions and business rules.
