Application Lock

Once an application is locked, no one can modify its configuration. Actions such as editing worksheets, editing workflows, exporting the application, copying, or deleting the application will be disabled.

  • Only the application owner can lock the application.

  • Imported applications and distributed applications cannot be locked.

  • When the application is locked, application administrators and developers can enter the password to unlock it before making changes, and then lock it again afterward.

  • Application administrators can enable application lock when exporting an application.

Lock an Application​

Path: Application action menu > App Management > Lock. Only the application owner can perform the lock operation.

Enable lock > Set an unlock password > Complete identity verification, then click Confirm to finish locking.

After locking, the page will refresh automatically. At this point, application configurations cannot be modified. Management actions, worksheet editing, and workflow entry points will be hidden.

How to Unlock and Disable Lock​

To edit application configurations, you need to unlock the application first.

  • Only application administrators and developers can unlock.

  • Unlocking applies only to the current user. Other users must unlock separately if they need to make changes.

  • Only the application owner can see the options to change the unlock password and disable the lock.

After making changes, remember to re-enable the lock.

Enable Lock When Exporting an Application​

When exporting an application, you can select No configuration changes allowed after import. After importing, the newly created application will remain locked.

  • For applications locked after import, no one can disable the lock state.

  • Only application administrators and developers can unlock.

  • The application owner can change the unlock password.

Limitations of a Locked Application​

  • Application Management: Only renaming, editing description, and unlocking are available

  • Worksheet Management: Only worksheet naming, editing description, resetting numbering, importing Excel, and recycle bin are available

  • View Management: Only sharing and exporting are available

  • Workflow entry points are removed

  • Worksheets and pages hidden in navigation remain invisible
