Control - File

With a file field, you can upload multiple files (documents, images, etc.) to the record.

1. Display mode for images​

There are 4 display modes for images, thumbnail, card, list and tile.

Effect:

If selecting the tile mode, the image will be displayed as a large image, which takes up more space and only shows the image type.

2. Restrictions on file formats​

  • Unsupported file formats:

    The files are not supported be uploaded by the platform itself, with the following extensions, .exe, .vbs, .bat, .com, .cmd, and .url , case insensitive.

  • Support for customizing the allowed file formats

    The extensions are not case sensitive.

3. Sort files​

You can choose [New in front] (files uploaded late are in front), [Old in front] (files uploaded early are in front) and custom sorting.

If choosing custom sorting, you can drag and drop files to sort them.

4. Number and size of uploaded files​

  • No limit on the total number and size of files.

  • Up to 20 local files or files from knowledge can be uploaded each time, and the total size of local files uploaded at one time shall be within 1G.

  • Custom number and size of uploaded files

    Min 1 file; Max 20 files

    Min 0.01M; Max 2028M

5. Download all files​

You can download all files in the file field of a single record with one click. The maximum file size is not more than 200M.

6. Watermarks for images​

When previewing and downloading images, you can customize watermarks for compliant document management. Watermarks for documents are not supported for now.

This feature is only available in paid editions.

  • Enable and set the watermark

You can splice fixed characters and fields to set the watermark, showing up to 20 characters.

  • Field values (only support: Text, Email, Telephone)

  • Current user: show the name of the current user

  • Current date format for downloading/previewing images: yyyyMMdd (20231014)

  • When the watermark will be shown

    • When previewing images
    • When downloading or exporting images

  • Image formats that support watermarks

    jpeg、png、tiff、bmp、heif

  • File size restrictions

    • The maximum file size for adding watermark is 20M, if exceeding, the watermark can not be added and no error is prompted.

Mobile device configuration​

  • Automatically compress images

    If checked, automatically compress images when uploading on mobile APP and mobile web (H5).

  • Disable uploading from the desktop client

    If checked, uploading files from PC browser is prohibited, but can be done on APP and H5 (mini programs and mobile browser).

  • Disable the photo album: If checked, users can only take photos and upload them on APP.

  • Add watermark to photos (mobile app only): It is only available when taking photos and uploading them on APP.

  • Get input before displaying the form: When adding a new record on APP, it asks to enable the camera to take a photo and upload it first, and then fill in the other fields after uploading.

  • Submit the form directly after obtaining: When adding a new record on APP, the record is automatically submitted once the photo is taken and uploaded.
