Node - Create Event

Feature: Based on the data in the worksheet, with the Create Event node, users can create an event in the Calendar, which is in the Collaboration module, or generate an ICS file to send to others as an attachment in an email, and click the file, you add the event to your calendar.

Use Case​

In the Customer Management worksheet, it is necessary to fill in visit plans or logs, and when a visit plan is created, an event is created at the same time.

How to set the node​

Create a workflow to add event​

In the Visit Schedule worksheet, create a button and click the button to create an event.

Add the Create Event node​

The Create Node node can cater for the following two types of requirements, which you can choose to create:

  • Create an event in the Collaboration module and generate an ICS file at the same time, which can be written in the attachment field in the subsequent node.

  • Do not create events, but generate an ICS file that can be sent as an e-mail attachment to collaborators to be added to their personal calendars

Create a System Schedule​

  • All day

  • Private: If checked, it will only be visible to participating members, and when other colleagues check your schedule, it will show them "Busy".

  • Reminder before start (unit: minute): If it is a all-day schedule, the reminder will be XX minutes ahead of 0:00.

  • Generate ICS file: If yes, an ICS file is automatically generated for subsequent nodes.

It generates a general calendar file - ICS file.
