Hidden Related Records

What you see

A record may be linked to multiple records, but only some are visible.

In this example, a project is linked to 5 task records, but only 2 are shown, with a notice that 3 records are hidden.

Why it happens

This behavior is controlled by the relationship field configuration.

The relationship field (Tasks) is set to select records from a specific view in the Task worksheet (for example, the In Progress view).

• When a task is first linked, it matches the view conditions
• If the task status later changes to Completed, it no longer appears in that view
• As a result, the record is hidden from the UI, while the relationship remains intact
