Operations by Administrators in the Approval Process

In scenarios where approvers or fillers are unable to process requests for extended periods due to reasons such as vacation or resignation, causing the process to stall, application administrators can operate with the following five actions:

  • Nudge Remind the approver or filler again to expedite the process.

  • Skip current node The administrator can force the current node to pass, automatically adding a note (marked as approved by the administrator).

  • Change node owner

  • Return Return it to the initiator or a previous node.

  • Abort This refers to terminating the "Initiate Approval Flow" node, while subsequent nodes in the main process continue to execute.

Prerequisites​

  1. Administrators can only intervene in Approval or Fill in nodes within the "Initiate Approval Flow" block.

  1. Set to display approval flow details in the worksheet.

Administrators can intervene by opening the record details page in the worksheet.
